We will meet every Friday of the month from 3:15 to 4:15 pm.
A brief description of our program:
Robo-fun: Stemtree Robotics Program
Our Robotics program aims to develop future engineers by introducing students to the fundamental concepts of design, construction, revision, and computer programming at a key developmental stage in their lives. Participants will learn engineering basics while working through our customized curriculum that expands on their current knowledge to create increasingly intricate builds that require more complex programming skills to run. Whether students are just beginning their journey into the world of robotics or have a deeper understanding of gear ratios and mechanical advantage, they will be challenged and encouraged to think critically and outside of the box throughout the duration of our program.
Students’ proficiency in Robotics is assessed during the first session. They will gain experience in the following:
Basic computer skills and programming languages
Mechanical design and construction
Step-by-step instructional and customized build designs
