Previously known as Level 1, this five week class is designed for new graduates of the Introduction to Archery series as well as anyone who needs to work on the foundations of the National Training System. You will reinforce the basics of safety and form while being introduced to the mental aspects of archery. Beginner Archery is suitable for youth aged 8+ and adults and will feature mixed age groups. You will need to own a stretch band and an arm guard. We sell them through our online store and will have them at the start of the class. Or you may buy one on your own.
All classes are held outdoors. If we need to cancel due to weather you will receive a notice at least two hours prior to the start of the class via email. If you miss a class you may do a make up in the form of a Pin Shoot or an Open Shoot. All make ups must be done within two weeks of the end of the class. There are no refunds. Please dress for outdoor weather. We will provide water, sunscreen and bug spray. There are no specific Covid rules at this time but we reserve the right to add them as needed. You will be asked to use our hand sanitizer before you pick up the equipment. We clean the equipment between uses. If your child is the student, parents are required to stay for the class or make arrangements with the staff. If you leave you need to be back 10 minutes before the end of the class.
