Music Together is an award-winning, research-based music & movement program for children (newborn-age 4) and the grownups who love them. These classes help little ones develop their innate musicality, while benefiting social and cognitive development and encouraging small and gross motor skills. Fayerweather is a co-educational independent day school in Fresh Pond, enrolling about 205 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Fayerweather provides child-centered education that respects each child's thinking while valuing the role that families and communities play in their education. INDOOR Our INDOOR classes are located inside the building in the Prek room. PROTOCOL: Masks are encouraged. Purell and disinfecting wipes will be available. OUTDOOR Our OUTDOOR classes are located in the tent in the back with the turf floor covering, next to the playground. Parking is available in the front parking lot or alongside the building on Spinelli Way. Walk to the left at the main entrance, following the path to the large green area behind the school. You will see the class tent located next to the back doors of the school. IN CASE OF RAIN DURING CLASS: If it begins to rain once classes have begun, the teacher will talk to the parents to choose a date to reschedule or choose a makeup class at another outdoors location. IN CASE OF RAIN BEFORE CLASS: If it is clear that it will be raining during class, we will notify families the day before class and the day of class at 8am to confirm if class will be held on Zoom at the designated class time and that families can tune in. Families will be sent the video of class as well. WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat or blanket to sit on, and a favorite stuffed animal or blankie for lullaby time. PROTOCOL: Masks not required for outdoor classes. Purell and disinfecting wipes will be available.
