When founder Becky Jones decided to open a dance school in 1972, she did so out of a deep passion for dance, family and community. Over her 50 year history as our founder and owner, she kept true to her vision through community outreach and exceptional instruction. Still serving Smyrna and the surrounding communities, Becky Jones School of Dance continues to operate under these values. We offer a wide range of classes for varying levels of dancer and our facilities feature sprung marley flooring, ballet barres, mirrors and tumbling equipment.

In addition to our annual recreational classes, we are home to the BJSD Showstoppers- a competitive dance company performing locally at community events and regional competitions.
