Who are these Sensory Play Pop-ups for?
Parents and caregivers of infants, toddlers and young children seeking a new kind of family activity that gives them a break while nurturing child development.
Why is it such a wide age group for kids?
Sensory is enjoyed by kids of all ages, and every child is on their own journey in development. We provide a variety of age appropriate activities within 10mo-9yrs so the little ones can explore with a variety of options, and we can learn what gets their minds going! When you reserve a spot early, we can make sure we have activities for the respective ages.
The socialization aspect is another key component. We constantly see older kids interact well with younger children as they learn new skills. The environment also presents opportunities for teachable moments with children who are struggling with social concepts, while surrounded by supportive parents.
Should I bring anything?
Anything you want/need for you and your little one(s) to be comfortable and have a good time!
For the kids: Clothes you don't mind getting wet or dirty, some extra clothes and a towel in case they get a bit messy. They are typically engaged throughout the entire time and may dump things on themselves, mix things from different bins including dirt... it's all okay! You'll be prepared to move to the next part of your day whether it's a family picnic, a stroller nap through the park or taking them home to tuck them in.
For you: Feel free to bring whatever you need to relax the way you want! A camping chair, mini cooler with your favorite beverages. As parents and caregivers, any moment we can find to breathe deeply and relax is a win!
