About
JAMaROO Kids Club Open Play hours are meant for child-lead play and exploration. This hour is dedicated to children from 12 months to 3 years old!
Studies continue to show us the benefits to providing children with time to explore and play on their own and that’s what this time is designed to do! Families are welcome to come and go as you please throughout the hour. This relaxed environment offers a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents, and Nannies to meet other Nannies, while the children they care for socialize and explore the space with their peers. At the end of each Open Play session, we’ll gather to read a story and sing the goodbye song!
-Each week we’ll have different sensory items out
-Classroom area will be set up for gross motor play
-Farmers market, train/ Lego table
-Dress up for imaginative play
-One optional arts or crafts project
This session, our curriculum will focus on Gardens, Bugs, Flowers and African Animals!
This is a reserved slot for an 7 week session.
No class Monday May 29th (Memorial Day)
Refunds
We do not offer refunds. If for any reason JAMaROO Kids has to cancel the class due to an emergency - we will credit you for the class or book a makeup class.
Make- ups:
We are now allowing two make-ups for missed classes per session. Your make-up classes must be arranged by the office and will be limited to the classes we have space in. Make-up classes do not carry over from one session to the next.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: At JAMaROO Kids we are committed to the health and safety of our students, families, friends, and teachers who join us at the JAMaROO Kids Club at 2116 Union Street! As we make this transition to indoor classes, we want to assure you that is our top priority! All of our JAMaROO staff and teachers are fully vaccinated and boosted, and we have a medical grade HEPA filter running at all times. When weather and safety permit, we will leave the door open (with a baby gate!). As per city and CDC guidelines, masks will be optional for everyone. We ask families to please not come to class if you or your child isn't feeling well or if you have a covid case in your household. JAMaROO Kids will gladly work with you to make-up any classes missed due to illness.
